Cutting Edge Recruiting Solutions (CERS) has a need for accounting professionals for one of our premier clients in the property and casualty insurance industry. Our client has been serving the property and casualty insurance industry for seven decades.
Sunrise FL (Hybrid)
Hourly Rate: $34hr
Job Responsibilities:
• Perform assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger closing and reporting responsibilities
• Performing journal entries and complex account reconciliations, including identification and remediation of all issues in compliance with company policies
• Collaborating with teammates and management to identify, design, and implement process improvements and policies for greater efficiency
• Creating and updating standard operating procedures
• Support management in other ad-hoc projects and assignments, as needed
Job Requirements:
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in Accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
• Prior insurance industry experience is a plus
• Experience with NetSuite software is a positive
• Strong analytical ability and perseverance to solve problems with high attention to detail
• Experience with multiple entities is preferred
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks within an established time line
• Must be a team player and capable of working in a fast paced environment
• Strong commitment to ethics and integrity
