Cutting Edge Recruiting Solutions (CERS) is currently seeking a Help Desk Level 2 IT Security IAM Specialist to join our client’s dynamic IT Security team. Our client is a leading technology-driven organization committed to providing cutting-edge IT solutions and ensuring the highest levels of security for our clients.
As a Help Desk Level 2 IT Security IAM Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and access management within Microsoft 365 (M365) for our client. You will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise related to identity and access management, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage and administer user accounts, roles, and permissions within Microsoft 365.
- Implement and enforce IAM policies and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports within M365 to detect and respond to security threats.
Assist in the development and maintenance of security protocols and procedures.
- Provide second-level technical support for IAM-related inquiries and issues.
Collaborate with Level 1 Help Desk to escalate and resolve complex problems.
- Assist in the identification, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
Participate in security incident response efforts, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of IAM processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Contribute to knowledge base articles for the Help Desk team.
- Conduct training sessions or workshops for end-users on IAM best practices and security awareness.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to identity and access management.
Participate in security audits and assessments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on IAM and M365 security.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and related security tools.
Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including role-based access control, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication.
- Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar) preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
